Happy Summer, to all our Eagle parents and students!
School will resume on August 10th, 2021.
As some COVID-19 pandemic restrictions have eased, we wish to maintain an environment of safety and wellbeing for your child while attending Wayman Academy. To this effect, we have developed a plan that provides parents with peace of mind, as well as options, both for “at-home” learning, as well as traditional “brick-and-mortar” learning. It is our intention to operate our buildings and classrooms in the safest way possible. Today was our annual Play Day! Everyone was looking bright and colorful as we played in the sun! We had a lot of fun, and we hope you did too, eagles! We are proud of all the hard work you did this year!

4.06.21 – FSA Testing Begins
As 3rd Grade begins FSA Reading testing today, we wish ALL of our 3rd-5th Graders the very best on their exams. Eagles, you have worked hard all year, and now it is time to SHOW what you KNOW! Remember to get a good night’s sleep and eat a healthy breakfast before testing. Come to school relaxed and ready, knowing your teachers have done EVERYTHING to prepare you for this moment! You can do it!

3.18.21 – Family FSA Information Session / PFEP Developmental Meeting
Once again, we want to thank all of our student families for joining us on another Family Night! We had a lot of fun, and we were grateful for the opportunity to share some important information with families as well – including how to best prepare our students for the FSA! Parents also participated in a PFEP Developmental Meeting. Their input is valuable and we are grateful to have them as a part of the Wayman community.. Thank you for engaging in, and being a part of, our community!
2.22.21 – Thanks for Attending Virtual Family Night!
We would like to extend our gratitude to each parent who attended our Virtual Family Night on February 11th! As we were looking around the school, we were so excited to see our teachers celebrating Black History Month, relaxing, and playing games with students and their families! This was a FUN event, and you won’t want to miss out on the next one! Be sure to attend our next Virtual Family Night / FSA Information Session, March 18th, from 4:30-5:30 PM! Over the last two weeks, our students have been invited to participate in some unusual, eye-catching experiments in the Art Lab! That’s right, our boys and girls have been getting MESSY, as they experiment with color and texture by making… you guessed it, SLIME!

Come join us Thursday, December 12th, for the Integrating Arts Family Night at Wayman Academy, with lots of fun and learning! We will also have games for the entire family!
We will be having a ‘Cake Walk’, variety of snacks, and lots of games and prizes. Take family photos by the Christmas tree. Parents please come out and join us! The event starts in the Gym at 5PM and ends at 6PM.
